Should You Pay Attention To Your Page Rank?
Some suggestion to help you with the clutter
As you see many people in the forums talk a lot about page rank. It is obvious that page rank is important when it comes to determining the authority, strength and correlation it holds among many of our active websites. But as a blog marketing alternative, discard it. Here are some of the reasons why.
If you are looking to get a higher authority presence in Google, why pay attention to page rank when you can get thousands of one way links with a simple 15 minute work on your part. Page rank is not important when it comes to traffic and conversions. Page rank won’t bring you money, your traffic acquisition methods and your diverse amount of tactical and strategic methods will, not page rank.
Most importantly, page rank usually builds in a website over time. As long as people follow the white hat marketing techniques that even blog should follow to rank high on search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN – why take a sweat thinking about page rank? Page Rank is just another analytical tool to help marketers see the strong relation if any, of many website linking to the particular website you are currently viewing.
From depths from 1 to 10, if you have are classified as ten you are likely a multi millionaire. Getting a ten is usually total ecstasy for many online marketers, a 4-5 page rank catalogued site is something often seen online. But remember, as a blog marketing tactic or strategy don’t think about it as it won’t help you get more sales unless you are selling text link ads or advertising space on your website.

I’ve actually been studying alot about pagerank, and I have started to notice the same thing you are talking about. I see some marketers that do not have a pagerank at all, but I know they are making alot of money online!
