Using Safelists For Email Marketing

There are loads of safelists online that you can use to send your email messages out to other members. The question is, is it worth your time and effort?
The main problem with safelists is that most of them only have 200 to 500 members, and you email the same members the same offers over and over again.
Maybe you had the idea of joining all the safelists online. Not a bad thought, but everyone else is already doing this. So you waste your time joining all these lists, and your just emailing the same email addresses over and over again every day. For the most part no one reads these emails anyway, so don’t waste your time.
If you have been thinking about using one of those online services that will sign you up to all the safelists and send your email out everyday from each list, don’t waste your money. Again they are using the same lists to sign the same people up to so you are still sending your email advertisements to the same people over and over again.
Now, don’t get it in your head that all safelist programs aren’t worth anything. There are still types of safelists online that work. The safelists that charge everyone that joins is still a good list. When people pay to join they take there memberships seriously.
So how to you find the good safelists and stay away from the bad ones. This is actually very simple. If the safelist offers a free membership, stay away it is not worth your time. On the other end if they want to charge you over $100 stay away. The $100 program isn’t worth anymore than the $15 program. Some people even sell memberships for $200.
If possible, sign up for lists that will also allow you to put your banners and contextual ads on there pages. It is a good way to get even more from the email program.
Another point to remember about advertising online is that no one advertising program is going to make you succeed online. Use the safelist advertising but also use all other forms of advertising you can find. The more different types of advertising you use, the better the chances for your success.
