Get Back To The Basics With Your Internet Marketing

How you can honestly make money in online marketing, what do I have to do to get the desired results?
It’s very easy to become disoriented using Internet Marketing, with everybody telling you that this or that is the Golden key to riches. Unfortunately, you don’t know where to do to start, or even what to do to get better results?
The first thing you need to do is to stop listening to what everyone else is telling you, and relax for a minute..
Now think about all those different ways people are telling you use, and how many you have tried? Then ask yourself how many of those have actually made you money?
More than likely the answer to this question is no, it always is. But be easy on yourself because there is hope. First we need to know what stage your at now.
For the beginners: Did you purchase your own domain name yet? Do you have a Website? Did you buy an auto responder?
Intermediate: Did you even start to build your email list? How is your auto responder setup? How many products do you have or promote?
For more advanced internet marketers: Do you get many purchases from the people on your list? How is your search engine rank? How much money do you get back for every $100 spent on advertising? What money are you making each month?
There are so many other items that I could add to this list, but if your not happy with your answers so far whats the point?
If you want to improve your answers you need to figure out how well you are using the basics Are you putting in enough time on the items that will help you support and grow your online business. Are you blowing to much of your time on the next get rich quick program, or the latest “guaranteed” traffic program.
By the way, most of those super hot techniques rely on the basic stuff already being in place first to execute them properly.
So if things are not exactly where you would like them to be then you need to decide exactly in detail what you want to do about it and set aside some time to do it.
So how do you prioritize your time? Start a journal of what you need to do and stick to it. This is not the coolest thing in the world to do but this is a great way to make sure your doing what you need to do, and this has worked for people for the last 2,000 years.
As easy as this sounds, you would be surprised at how many people just wont do it, and it can mean the difference between success and failure.
Once you set this program up, make sure you do what you have set your time aside to do, maybe a new longer series of auto responder messages that encourages the person to take another look at your products or affiliate links.
Improve the sales copy on your website, start using article marketing to help boost your search engine rank, and be active in forums related to your niche products.
Using these simple basics on a daily basis will have you earning money. Now that you are making money simply because you got back to the basics of internet marketing, you can begin adding new ways of advertising and see if they improve your traffic and sales. Ask yourself do these new techniques suit your style, your products, your mind set, then try them.
So set some goals in your diary and write down some activities that you will do to help achieve those goals, now you can spend more time building your own online business instead of reading promotions from other people that are making them money.
When you are making money these things become more enjoyable and you feel inspired to take it do the next level. So now you just need to figure out what you have to do and make a plan to get it done, once your plan is made you need to stick to it.
