The fundamentals in Network Marketing are very similar to sports. Take Vince Lombardi for example. He coached the Green Packers in the late fifties and won several championships. At every training camp on the very first day he would hold up a football and say “this is a football.” Telling his players we are going to do fundamentals. Passing and catching, tackling, blocking and running.He constantly drilled this into the heads of his players. His belief in fundamentals made him one of the greatest coaches ever.
His point was you can have all the talent that there is, but if you have your ladder up against the wrong building your not going to achieve your goals. The problem with fundamentals is they usually are boring and can be achieved through sheer repetition. In fact that is the best way to learn anything as far as I am concerned. Do it over and over again until it becomes part of you. When you have the fundamentals down everything else falls into place.
What are the fundamentals of Network Marketing and are their any? There certainly are and they are so simple that most people don’t pay any attention to them. They look too simple so obviously they can’t possibly work. The person who is bound to fail is going to make up his own fundamentals and travel down the road to failure and out of the business. The basics are: consume the product, share the product and teach the same.
The difference between Network Marketing and Vince Lombardi is that he wouldn’t have put up with a player who didn’t practice the fundamentals. Of course he had control over his players where only you have control over you in performing the Network Marketing business.
If you have a system that helps people become successful doesn’t it make sense to copy it? Football and Network Marketing have something in common and it’s called the fundamentals. The key here is to be aware of what gets the job done so you can model it and become successful too. And the cost of copying someone? Zero! Nada! So start modeling by doing the basics and get ready to become successful in Network Marketing.
