Using the Internet for Network Marketing

Burgers and fries. Cowboys and horses. Valentine’s Day and chocolate. Cookies and milk. Certain items go hand in hand. You see one, you usually see the other. In business, two things that go together are the Internet and network marketing. In fact, the Internet has done more for network marketing than any other tool ever invented.
Before the arrival of the Internet, network marketing business had to be conducted in meetings, at gatherings planned well in advance – and if a businessman left an important piece of paper or product at home, he was just out of luck.
Not only did the Internet cut down on the need to travel in order to meet potential clients or recruits, but everything needed to conduct business is available with the click of a mouse. The world is literally at your fingertips.
The Internet brought social media sites into play and the smart marketer knows that in order to rev up the people his product can reach, he needs to leverage this type of interaction for his company.
By using the Internet for network marketing, you can show the people what it is you do. With the creation of slideshows or recordings of streaming video, you can deliver a personalized recruiting session without even having to have a hands-on approach because it’s all done autopilot.
What you need to make the Internet work hand in hand with networking is to create a presence on the World Wide Web. A presence isn’t simply limited to a website. It’s seeking out all of the tools available for networking, gathering them and putting them to use.
When setting up a presence on the Internet, make sure your site will lead prospects to you whenever they do a search for certain keywords. Put your keywords in the name of your website.
For example, if you sold discount travel packages, you’d want a domain that had the words discount travel or cheap travel in it. Even if you’re brand new to Internet marketing and feel that success is light years away, you’ll want to corner every possible branding opportunity you can using strategic keyword phrases.
Go to all of the social media sites and claim your company name. Once you claim the dot com version of your website, do the same with the .org, .net and .info domains because when the business takes off (and it will) you don’t want someone else to come along and capitalize on all of the hard work you’ve done to get to the top.
When leads are looking for opportunities, you don’t want the competition to beat you to the punch. By using the Internet for business marketing, you can make sure you’re the one consumers find and you’re the one who gets them the products they have to have.
Taking the Internet and harnessing it to achieve a goal isn’t anything new. Others have been doing it for years. Learn how you can use it to bring the right people to the virtual doorstep of your business.

Dos and Don’ts of Using PLR Products for Membership Sites
January 7, 2010 by Admin
Do you want to make money with private label right products? Otherwise known as PLR products, they have the potential to make millions. You have many moneymaking options, but one is proven successful. That is operating a paid membership website. Internet users pay to join your program. In return, you give them access to special features not available to the common browser.
Where do the PLR products come in? They are cheap and easy to re-brand. You can offer products as signup bonuses or use as featured material. In fact, your options are endless. Just know what you are doing first. What should you do and don’t do when using PLR products for membership websites?
Do know that PLR products come in different formats. The most common sold are e-books and article packs. However, you can also find audio books, photographs, graphics, software programs, and more. You are trying to run a paid membership website. Give your members good updated products or they may leave and not return. Mix it up a bit to please all members and their different preferences.
Don’t pay for products you won’t use. Although you should not pay for products you won’t use, don’t limit yourself either. For example, you run a membership website for internet marketers. That is great, but what if you can gain access to over 100 pet care articles for $1 each with PLR status? That is a good value. You might not want to pass it up. Instead, think about creating another membership website with a pet theme. After all, the more websites you create, the more money you make. However, if you don’t want to get in over your head, carefully pick and choose your products.
Do buy PLR products often. The key to running a successful and profitable membership website is to keep your members happy. Updated content will do this. Whether your content comes in the form of written words, audio, video, or all three, update often. At the very least, you should update your membership site weekly. Paid members will get frustrated with a lack of updates, which they are paying for. Yes, you make money when someone pays for a 2-month membership, but the profits lie with long-term and repeat customers.
Don’t buy secondary PLR products you can easily create yourself. As previously stated, PLR products come in different formats and you want to have each of those formats available for your members. With that said, don’t waste money. For example, your PLR e-book shares tips for choosing a veterinarian. Rewrite that e-book and make it available to members, but don’t stop there. Read the e-book and record yourself. You now have an audio book. Video tape yourself interviewing a local veterinarian, searching through the phone book, or doing research online. You know have a series of videos. Pay for one PLR product, but spin it yourself to get even more.
Do use PLR articles to generate interest and lead to opt-in pages. Some paid membership websites require payment to access the entire site. These are okay, but impose limitations. An internet user who finds your website by way of standard internet search isn’t going to pay your $9.99 membership fee just to see what is available. You must tell them. Use PLR articles to get the job done. If running a membership website for pet owners, post articles on buying pets, choosing the right dog breed, the importance of proper care, and so forth. At the end of each article, mention more articles and resources are available with a paid membership.

Pros and Cons of Using Affiliates to Help Sell Re-Branded PLR Products
January 7, 2010 by Admin
If you want to make money with the buying, re-branding, and selling of private label rights products, like e-books and software programs, you will need to market and advertise. There are thousands of digital products for sale online. With PLR products, 100 or more people may have bought the same package. Marketing does take time and it costs money, but is necessary. A good approach is to create an affiliate program.
With affiliate programs, you recruit other internet users. These are usually content website owners or just those who want to make money online. After giving them permission to join your program, provide them with resources. These resources may include banners, text links, and sales page templates. These all come with embedded codes so that you know who helped make the sale.
Starting an affiliate program to help generate sales for your re-branded PLR product sounds nice, but what are the pros and cons?
The Pros of Starting an Affiliate Program
Around the clock marketing. When you build a strong affiliate program, you always have someone marketing your sales page and product. Around the clock marketing is likely to translate into around the clock sales. No matter how experienced you are with internet marketing, you cannot devote 24 hours a day to it. So, don’t. Let someone else help you instead.
You can reach other markets. If you sell a re-branded e-book for working at home, your target market is likely stay-at-home parents. It is well-known that this group wants to and can benefit the most from working at home. Therefore, you focus your attention there. One of your affiliates may have other ideas. He or she may create or already have a website or blog for those laid-off from their jobs. This website or blog may cover tips on how to save money, how to update resumes, and more. It may also be the perfect place to market your working from home e-book, but you never thought of targeting this market before.
It is easy to start an affiliate program. Why is it so easy? Your options. Software programs are available for sale where you do all the work yourself. You can create links, banners, and sales page templates for your affiliates. You monitor and track the payout yourself. You can also use a third-party website. They handle the work for you, but charge a fee.
The Cons of Starting an Affiliate Program
You will get many applications. As mentioned above with the work from home e-book, many people want to work from home or learn how to make extra money. Many jump on any opportunity they can find, including yours. For that reason, you will get many applications. Unfortunately, not everyone will be qualified. If you allow links or banners on existing websites, make sure they are good. You don’t want your name and product associated with a borderline illegal and offensive website or one that is poor in quality.
It does take some work. Starting and running an affiliate program is one of those things that are easy, but hard at the same time. There is a lot of work to do. As previously stated, you must weed through applicants, make sales page templates or banners, track and monitor your sales, and so forth. You can hire outside help for some of these tasks, but it would cut into your profits.
Speaking of your profits, you do not get all of them anyways with an affiliate program. As previously stated, you work with other work-at-home individuals and website owners to sell a product through links, banners, and sales pages. They don’t do this just for fun, but to get paid. You can decide on a flat rate or commissions based percentage, but always keep your profits in mind. You want good affiliates, so offer a decent rate, but always remember your goal is to make money.

How to Market for Your For Sale PLR eBook

PLR products are rapidly increasing in popularity. Many individuals are seeing them as a relatively easy way to make money online and they are. When you buy a private label rights product, like an e-book, you gain the right to edit that e-book, add your name as the author, and sell as a new product. You are selling a product you did not create from scratch. The buying, re-branding, and selling of PLR product is not just a neat concept, it is also a goldmine. If you play your cards right, this online moneymaking opportunity can replace your current full-time income and then some!
The first step in making money with PLR e-books is to buy them. Many websites and individuals sell them. When making your choice, consider your initial investment. Buying single PLR e-books is nice, but you may end up paying more. Subscription based services tend to give you access to new private label rights e-books every few months. You should receive a discount when buying in bulk. Your initial investment is important. The less you spend, the easier and quicker it is to turn a profit.
The next important step in profiting from the re-branding and reselling of PLR e-books is determine your selling methods. Luckily, you have many options. Most create a sales page. To do this, purchase a cheap domain name and small web hosting packages. Good sales pages consist of eye-catching graphics, chapter summaries, content excerpts, and customer testimonials. You also have the option to do business with a third-party website, such as Lulu.com. These websites are already established with traffic, but they do take a percentage of your sales. If you want to retain the most profits, create your own sales page.
As previously stated, good sales pages have content excerpts from the book, chapter summaries, reviews, and eye-catching graphics. Unfortunately, that is not enough. There are millions of websites and thousands of other similar sales pages and e-books. To increase your profits, you must market your sales page. Just because you list a product for sale online, it does not mean it will sell. Yes, some individuals will find your e-book through a standard internet search, but relying on this alone limits you.
You now know the importance of marking a PLR e-book you re-branded and are selling, but what are your marketing options?
Google AdWords. This program is easy, affordable, and a wise marketing choice. So, you have a sales page where your e-book is listed for sale. To drive traffic to that page, create a Google AdWords account. You are able to create your own advertisement. Along with that, you choose keywords. These keywords are very important. You are selling an e-book, but so are thousands of others. You can use the phrase e-book, but expand from there. Great examples include e-books for sale, debt consolidation e-books, and so forth. Focus on the general theme of e-books for sale and then the theme or subject your book covers.
What is ideal about Google AdWords is the cost. You can set a budget. If you are just starting out, set your limit at $200. You are only charged when someone clicks on your ads, not every time they appear on a website. This not only saves you money, but also ensures your money is wisely spent. If you set a budget, your ads automatically stop appearing after $200.
Article directories. Article directories are ezines were user-based content is submitted. To capitalize on this free advertising, create articles. Write articles related to the product in question. If selling a how-to internet marketing book, share a few tips in the articles, but leave your readers wanting more. Put a link to your sales page at the end of each article. Most importantly, articles submitted through directories expand and grow. Usage rights are given to others. A blog writer may take your article and post it on their website, but they must leave your name and links intact. Within days, one of your articles can spread across the internet, leading to more sales and income. Checkout http://www.NakedPLR.com for a great way to get 5 new PLR books that you can rebrand each month in a new niche topic.
Mentioned above were just two marketing ideas for selling a re-branded PLR e-book. Think outside of the box. Market your products online, locally, through message boards, start an affiliate program, and so forth. In fact, your options are endless.
